Which Euro pallet quality classes are there?
In addition to brand-new Euro pallets (EPAL), a large selection of reworked, used and exchangeable pallets (EPAL) is available for you at a convincing price-performance ratio. When buying and renting used pallets, choose between three quality classes:
Euro pallet quality class A
- No contamination, visually almost like new, brightly sorted
- suitable for storage, transportation, MFH*
- ISPM 15/IPPC not guaranteed
- All mandatory license plates are legible
- no protruding splinters
- no twisted blocks
Euro pallet quality class B
(upgrade to quality class A)
- slight signs of wear — wood darkening allowed, light/dark unsorted
Euro pallet quality class C
(upgrade to quality classes A and B)
- severe signs of wear, have already been used for several transfers
- MFH* capability not guaranteed, but ready for use for storage and transportation
- comply with DIN EN 13698-1
- free from packaging adhesions
- At least one trademark and the manufacturer's identification can be read
- odourless

What are the Euro pallet dimensions?
The most well-known pallet size is that of the Euro pallet (EPAL). It has the dimensions 1200 x 800 mm. In other words: The Euro pallet has a length of 120 cm, a width of 80 cm and a height of 14.4 cm. These dimensions result in a base area of exactly 0.96 m2. The weight of the Euro pallet is 20 kg to 24 kg — depending on the moisture of the wood. The popular transport pallet can weigh up to 1,500 kg. An enormous load capacity!
How do you make optimal use of cargo space when delivering European pallets?
Pallet pool offers the full range of truck types. Thanks to the standardized dimensions of the Euro pallet, the load space in all our trucks and semitrailers can be optimally used.
