When you access our website, general information is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and the like. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the content you have requested from websites and is mandatory when using the Internet. Anonymous information of this type is statistically evaluated by us (e.g. the number of visitors to a website) in order to optimize our website and the technology behind it.

Scope of processing of personal data

In principle, we only process our users' personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users is regularly carried out only with the user's consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

Legal basis for processing personal data

Insofar as we obtain consent from the data subject for processing personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis.

When processing personal data that is necessary to fulfill a contract to which the data subject is a party, Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures.
Insofar as processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR serves as the legal basis.
In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR serves as the legal basis.
If processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing.

4. Storage of personal data

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the purposes mentioned under 2 and 3. If storage is no longer necessary and upon termination of the user relationship, all personal data will be deleted within the framework of legal requirements.

5. Withdrawal, information, changes, corrections, deletion and updates

The person concerned has the right, upon request, to obtain information free of charge (Art. 15 GDPR) about the personal data that has been stored about him/her. The right to object (Article 21 GDPR) includes the option for data subjects to object to the further processing of their personal data in a particular situation. In addition, data subjects have the right to correct (Art. 16 GDPR) incorrect data, block or restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and delete (Art. 17 DSGVO) of personal data, unless this is contrary to a legal storage obligation.
